R E M I N D E R S
12 contemporary artists immerse themselves into the past, revealing a hidden reality that suddenly acquires new substance. The artwork identifies as a sequence of marginal notes and reminders on the walls, resembling visitors tabs in time. Each piece reveals a individual story and the artwork all together, a new collective narrative.
For the past two decades the 1920 former paper warehouse has remained empty and desolate. The original decoration and distinct architectural features that mark the interior, make the building stand out until this today.
R E M I N D E R S exhibition calls upon the artists to revive a long, forgotten, architectural gem, situated within the heart of the commercial triangle of Athens.
